We begin each door with a drawing design in which the client is actively involved. In fact, clients frequently discover the value of their doors during this process. Prehung is used after carving, and during prehung, all of the hardware, including hinges, doorshoe sweepers, weatherstripping, bolts, and roller locks, are already attached. Pictures of prehung doors are included. We normally apply 3 times of hand sanding plus primer coats to each individual door.
