We begin each door with a drawing design in which the client is actively involved. In fact, clients frequently discover the value of their doors during this process. They can tell us the story, and we will engrave it on the door, or they can simply show us a picture, and we will design the door accordingly. Every door has a WOODTELLSTORY-Carved Wood Furniture story on it. See some sketches below that we have already converted into doors. You may pick from a variety of wood types for your doors, including mahogany, black walnut, knotty alder, ash, and oak, among others. The wood grains and prices of various wood species vary. By the way, we kyln-dry all of the wood logs we used for doors before erecting them.

No matter if a wooden door has carved designs or not, or how tenon and mortise structures are used, a competent master-level carpentry job ensures whether or not this door might survive for decades. Each antique door manufactured by WOODTELLSTORY is guaranteed to survive a long time by our master-level artisans utilizing full length, solid timber that is tenon joined, pegged, and doweled. We are very proud of our Hand Carving On Wood method, which takes the majority of the time when creating a bespoke door. The photographs below show hand carving elements in more depth. We have the most artistic hand carving talents in the world to create each project specifically for each of our clients across the world as a treasure. This includes chainsaw carving, chisel carving, rough carving, intricate carving, shallow carving, and high relief carving. There is no other Hand Carved Doors  in the entire world that compares to the magnificent handcrafted original we build for you under the artistically talented wood carvers' tireless labor.

Prehung is used after carving, and during prehung, all of the hardware, including hinges, doorshoe sweepers, weatherstripping, bolts, and roller locks, are already attached. Pictures of prehung doors are included. We normally apply 3 times of hand sanding plus primer coats to each individual door. For examples of how we hand sand each project, check the photographs below. Hand sanding allows you to feel wonderful when your hands touch wood door surfaces. The stain and finish process is another set of mastery-level abilities we possess, particularly for those wild creatures we are able to stain the precise colors on, such as the Eagle door and Lion door, both of which appear to be alive. The Timeless Artistry of Hand Carved Doors

Doors are not just functional barriers that separate one space from another; they are also a key element of architectural design and decoration. A door can reflect the style, character, and personality of a building, and can make a powerful first impression on visitors. One way to enhance the beauty and uniqueness of a door is to have it hand carved by a skilled artisan. Hand carved doors are not only functional and durable, but also works of art that can add a touch of elegance, tradition, and individuality to any space. Carved doors are typically made from solid wood, such as oak, mahogany, or teak, which is chosen for its strength, texture, and grain pattern. The wood is carefully selected and seasoned to prevent warping, cracking, or splitting over time. The artisan then uses hand tools, such as chisels, gouges, and mallets, to carve the wood into intricate designs, motifs, or patterns. The carving can be done in relief, where the design stands out from the surface, or in intaglio
